Join the celebration! Breaking bread is a centuries-old, worldwide tradition. Whether you make new friends, reacquaint with those you haven’t seen in some time, or gather again with close friends, breaking bread brings us together.

As writers, what better way to share our love for reading and writing than with a book exchange over food! As we celebrate our Desert Sleuths membership, we’ll also honor members who have graced us with their talents over the years.

There is no charge, and members are welcome to bring one guest (spouse, significant other, author friend, driver, etc.) Remind them we’re friendly and certainly want them to join the festivities with us!

Bring a brunch item and a new (less than $20 value) or gently-used book (good condition, with cover), your appetite, and a smile! Guests can participate in the book exchange if they bring a book.
