Location: We selected a restaurant in the Biltmore/Town & Country area in Phoenix. The name and address will be emailed to confirmed ticket holders only. Walk-ins are not permitted.

We don’t often get together in person, so take advantage of this in-person social gathering to network with fellow Desert Sleuths, friends, and family.

We need to pre-order food and drink so it will be ready shortly after we arrive. We’re serving pizza and salads with a variety of beverage choices. We cannot guarantee that your favorite will be available but will do our best to select a variety that meets the needs of everyone attending. There will be one or two vegetarian pizzas and salads.

Reservations Required by Noon, Friday, 9/13/24

Desert Sleuths is covering a portion of the evening’s costs, including tax and gratuity. Please arrive in time for the pizza to still be warm and to find a slice (or two) and a salad that meets your needs. We expect food to be out around 6:15. Then table hop, chat, and catch up with your fellow Sleuths and others. This is a nice treat between the Friday and Saturday virtual sessions of WriteNOW! 2024.

When you register, you’ll be asked to make selections that enable us to order an appropriate number of various items. These are the selections you’ll be offered:

Food and Beverage: Please select ONE of the following and indicate your beverage preference beneath it. We anticipate 2-3 slices per person for pizza. Vegetarian options will be ordered.

• • Food with Wine (these are in bottles and we anticipate 2 glasses per person)

  • Food with Beer (comes in pitchers; we cannot order all below and will choose from the more popular selections)
    • Ale
    • Amber/Blonde
    • IPA
    • Lager
    • Pilsner
  • Food with Soda (check this only if you are not having any wine or beer)

Also available will be a variety of salads in family size bowls. We expect that some people may prefer a single slice of pizza plus a salad or salad only; we’ll try to be flexible in the ordering.
