Virtual Pitch Sessions

PitchNOW! Price: $35 per session

One-on-one, 10-minute virtual pitch sessions with:

MarketNow! Price: $50 per half hour session
Registration cut-off, midnight, Friday September 9th – deadline has been extended to September 14th
One-on-one virtual sessions for marketing advice with marketing expert Hailey Dezort.

EditNOW! Sessions

EditNOW! Price $60 per manuscript
Registration cut-off, midnight, Wednesday September 14th
A 25-page assessment/developmental edit by Terri Bischoff is available asynchronously in September. Submitted manuscripts do not have to be complete, but the following guidelines should be followed:

    • Times New Roman, 12 pt, double spaced as an attached Word doc
    • 25 pages or the closest natural break (scene or chapter)
    • Include a genre description
    • Include the word count
    • Optional (but helpful): Include a 2-3 paragraph synopsis or a query letter

While you can register in advance, submissions should be sent via email to the address provided upon payment only between September 16th and September 30th, 2022.

Edited manuscripts will be returned no later than 2 weeks after submission.

WriteNOW! 2022 Networking Social (In-Person Event)

Networking Social, Free for Members, Non-Member Price: $10
Registration cut-off, midnight, Friday September 9th

(appetizers & drinks available from 6:30 – 8:30 pm)
Indoor/outdoor areas for socializing, an appetizer buffet, and cash bar. This first in-person Desert Sleuths event will observe COVID safety protocols for those concerned about large gatherings. Color-coded name tags will tell others your preference regarding social distancing—maintain distance please, fist bumps okay, or hugs welcome. Registration is required.
